Synopsis: Indian film composer Rahul Dev Burman (popularly known as Pancham) placed his own special stamp on the Indian film music of the late sixties. And almost a decade after his passing, his music continues to have an ardent following as well as a lasting influence on the style and technique of music composers in Indian cinema today. Pancham Unmixed explores Burman's life and persona, with anecdotes from his closest friends and colleagues that throw light on the inner workings of one of the key foundations of Indian cinema idioms, and its make-or-break role in a film’s commercial success.
