Very true...Sara Zamana is Singing.... isn't it? This was composed and recorded 35 yrs ago, but still is sooooo modern, yet periodic.

Selection of instruments in this duet always amazes me, rightly pointed out, Sarod is used in very creative way as filler music plus in the interludes. Beauty of those Sarod pieces are just check how Pancham made it go up or down based on the song note. Also using Santoor, Sehnai....with enhancing "tabla-theka".....simply "LajaWaaBBBBB"
Also check out the beginning....super craftsmanship indeed!!!!! Pancham's composition on semi-classical could easily be termed as Pancham Gharana
Rafi Sahab is supreme in this one, although subjective but I think Rafi Sahaab exceled more than Lata-didi and truly depicted the romantic mood of this one.
